Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Assessin (assessin.in), a product of Thrdream LLP, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lucknow.

2. Description of Service

Assessin is an AI-powered UPSC answer evaluation platform that:

  • Evaluates handwritten UPSC Mains answers using top frontier LLM models, fine-tuned for this use case
  • Provides detailed feedback across 7 dimensions, model answers, and actionable improvement suggestions
  • Tracks progress, streaks, and badges for motivation
  • Offers practice questions from previous year papers
  • Uses RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) with a strictly curated UPSC knowledge base for factual accuracy

3. Free & Pro Plans

Free Plan: Limited to 2 evaluations per month. All core features included.

Pro Monthly: Up to 35 evaluations per month, priority processing.

Pro Yearly: Up to 50 evaluations per month, priority processing, Scholar Programme eligibility.

4. Payments & Refund Policy

Payments are processed securely through trusted payment gateways. By subscribing to a Pro plan:

  • You authorise us to charge the subscription fee to your chosen payment method
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Strict No-Refund Policy: All subscription fees paid to Assessin are non-refundable. Once a payment is processed, we do not issue refunds under any circumstances, including partial-use or early cancellation
  • Exception: The only exception is the Assessin Scholar Programme reward (see Section 5), which is an incentive, not a refund

5. The Assessin Scholar Programme

The Scholar Programme is available exclusively on the yearly Pro plan. Users who complete the programme are eligible for a reward of 50% of the original payment. This is not a refund — it is an incentive for consistent, quality practice.

The Three Pillars

To qualify, you must fulfil all three pillars:

🔥 Pillar 1 — Consistency

Maintain a daily practice streak. You must be active for a minimum of 30 days within a rolling 50-day window. This proves you're building a real habit, not cramming at the last minute.

📈 Pillar 2 — Quality

Achieve quality benchmarks in your evaluations. Your scores across multiple evaluations should show a clear upward trend, demonstrating genuine improvement — not just volume.

✅ Pillar 3 — Completion

Complete the full programme requirements including covering different GS papers, practising with diverse question types, and finishing the target set by the app.

Claim Process

The reward process is manual to ensure strict verification. Once you have achieved all three pillars:

  • Take a screenshot of your Profile/Achievements section showing your progress
  • Email to support@assessin.in with the subject line "Scholar Reward Claim — [Your Name & Email]"
  • Our team will verify your backend logs and contact you within 3-5 business days to process the reward

UPSC Mains Selection Reward

If you clear the UPSC Civil Services Mains examination during your active yearly subscription period, you are eligible for the same ₹300 Scholar Reward — regardless of whether you met the three pillars above. To claim:

  • Email support@assessin.in with the subject line "Mains Selection Reward — [Your Name]"
  • Attach a screenshot or copy of your UPSC Mains result showing your roll number
  • Our team will manually verify your selection and process the ₹300 reward within 5-7 business days
  • This reward is available only once per user, per Mains cycle

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, evaluation rubrics, AI prompts, and proprietary methodology on Assessin are the exclusive intellectual property of Thrdream LLP. Your uploaded answers remain your intellectual property. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to process and evaluate them.

  • You may not scrape, copy, redistribute, or use our content for commercial purposes
  • Screenshots of your own reports shared for personal study are permitted

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload inappropriate, offensive, or non-academic content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the AI evaluation system
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated tools to submit evaluations at scale
  • Redistribute evaluation reports for commercial purposes

8. AI Limitations & Disclaimer

Assessin uses top frontier LLM models, fine-tuned for UPSC evaluation. While we strive for accuracy:

  • AI evaluations are approximations, not official UPSC grades
  • Scores and feedback should be used as a learning tool, not as definitive assessments
  • AI may occasionally provide inaccurate data — always cross-verify critical facts with standard textbooks
  • Assessin is a supplementary study aid. Thrdream LLP is not liable for any loss of marks or errors in preparation resulting from use of our AI content

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@assessin.in.

10. Limitation of Liability

Assessin is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
